Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data (under the GDPR / RODO) is the operator of Baltic Garden Apartment in Gdańsk, Poland. For anything to do with your data, email hello@balticgardenapartment.pl.
What we collect
If you send a booking request or an email, we process: • your name • your email address • your phone number, if you give one • stay dates, number of guests, and any message you write The hosting provider may also keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) so the site can run securely. We do not create user accounts, and we do not collect data for marketing.
Why we use the data, and on what legal basis
We use form and email details only to reply to your enquiry and, if a stay is agreed, to arrange it. The legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps before a short-term rental contract) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering messages and preventing abuse). Name, email, and dates are needed so we can reply. Phone and message are optional.
Who else sees the data
Booking requests are emailed to us through Resend. The website is hosted by Vercel. Messages to hello@balticgardenapartment.pl may be forwarded by ImprovMX to the operator’s inbox. We do not sell your data. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (including the United States). That happens under GDPR transfer tools, usually the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep booking requests and emails for as long as we need to handle the enquiry and any stay, then for a period needed for possible claims — usually up to 12 months after the correspondence or stay ends, unless a longer period is required by law. Hosting logs follow the provider’s usual short retention.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or data portability. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interest. To use these rights, email hello@balticgardenapartment.pl. You may lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl.
Cookies
We use one necessary cookie to remember the language you chose. There is no analytics, advertising, or tracking pixel, so we do not show a cookie banner.
